Mweelrea is an 814-metre (2,671 ft) Hewitt in Mayo, the island of Ireland. It is also known as Maol Reidh. It lies in the South Mayo and Central Galway area (Mweelrea Mountains). Its prominence, the drop to the col before higher ground, is 778 m. The summit is marked by a cairn. It is also on the Marilyn, Simm, Historic County Top and Current County/UA Top lists.
