The Old Man of Coniston

The Old Man of Coniston is an 802-metre (2,633 ft) Wainwright in Westmorland and Furness, England. It is also known as Coniston Old Man. It lies in the Lake District S area (Lake District - Southern Fells). Its prominence, the drop to the col before higher ground, is 415 m. The summit is marked by a cairn 12m SE of trig point. It is also on the Marilyn, Simm, Hewitt, Nuttall, Birkett, Synge, Fellranger and Historic County Top lists.
